At Thomas Tallow Co. we use the Dry-rendering method at a low temperature which helps preserve the fat's natural composition. Dry-rendered tallow tends to have a longer shelf life compared to wet-rendered, because there is less risk of microbial growth and spoilage. We take pride in the fact that our Tallow smells and looks like TALLOW! Why would we "purify" it and risk the benefits being diminished?
